Every year, the American Pakistan Foundation hosts a retreat with its Board members and the extended APF community to engage in dialogue on building bridges between the United States and Pakistan and empowering the Pakistani American community.

Join us for a day of impactful and meaningful conversations on how the Pakistani American community can:

Shape public narratives on Pakistan and its diaspora;
Strengthen professional opportunities for the next generation;
Advance connections between the United States and Pakistan.

Book Talk with Author Shuja Nawaz on The Battle for Pakistan: The Bitter US Friendship and a Tough Neighborhood

Shuja Nawaz is a globally recognized political and strategic analyst. Currently, he is a distinguished fellow, South Asia Center, at the well-known bi-partisan think tank, the Atlantic Council in Washington, DC. In January 2009, he was made the first director of the Council's South Asia Center. He is the author of Crossed Swords: Pakistan, its Army, and the Wars Within.

Learn about the APF Mentorship and Internship Initiative, which includes an online portal that will connect mentors with mentees, and listen to a panel of APF mentors share lessons for success in today’s professional world.
