What are APF Fellowships

APF Fellows are placed with a diverse group of partner organizations working across policy, development, public health, and global governance. Each placement offers fellows the opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience while contributing to impactful projects and initiatives.

NRSP Fellowship

The APF–NRSP Fellowship places fellows with the National Rural Support Programme, Pakistan’s largest rural development organization. Fellows engage in field-based learning, working with development professionals and local communities to better understand poverty alleviation, community development, and grassroots initiatives across Pakistan.

Sehat Kahani Fellowship

Through the APF–Sehat Kahani Fellowship, fellows work with Sehat Kahani, a leading telemedicine platform expanding access to healthcare across Pakistan. Fellows gain experience in digital health innovation, research, and public health initiatives aimed at improving healthcare access in underserved communities.

Stimson Center Fellowship

Fellows placed with the Stimson Center work with leading experts in international security and foreign policy through the organization’s South Asia Program. Fellows support research initiatives, contribute to policy analysis, and assist with events and publications related to regional security, diplomacy, and strategic affairs.

Asia Society Fellowship

Through our partnership with the Asia Society Policy Institute, fellows gain exposure to policy research and dialogue focused on Asia’s role in global affairs. Fellows support research, events, and policy discussions addressing issues such as international cooperation, economic development, governance, and regional diplomacy.

United Nations Fellowship

As part of the UN Initiative, APF United Nations Fellowship provides fellows the opportunity to engage with projects connected to the United Nations, offering exposure to international diplomacy, multilateral institutions, and global policy discussions. Fellows observe and participate in events, meetings, and contribute to research that shapes international cooperation and global governance.
