Highlights of 2026 Board Retreat
The 2026 APF Board Retreat brought together board members, Leadership Council, fellows, and community leaders for a dynamic weekend of reflection, strategy, and connection. Strarting off with the APF Leadership Summit - a dynamic afternoon which convened emerging and established Pakistani American leaders for an afternoon of engaging panels, including Voices in Foreign Policy and Journalism, Identity & Influence. The summit fostered meaningful conversations around identity, leadership, and professional growth, while creating space for mentorship, networking, and community-building.
The weekend culminated in the APF Annual Board Dinner, an evening that brought together distinguished guests, partners, and supporters of the APF community. With insightful remarks from leaders across diplomacy and policy such as Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and New Jersey Assemblywoman Shama Haider, and a keynote address by Dr. Atif Mian, the dinner served as a powerful reflection on the role of the Pakistani American diaspora in shaping conversations both in the U.S. and globally. The evening highlighted APF’s continued commitment to building bridges, strengthening community, and creating pathways for impact.
