Partner, Goldman Sachs
Omer Ismail is Managing Partner at Goldman Sachs and the head of the firm’s US consumer business. He oversees the Marcus by Goldman Sachs and Clarity Money businesses as well as the Goldman Sachs and Apple credit card partnership. Under Omer’s leadership, Goldman Sachs’ US consumer business has grown to over 4 million customers, $5 billion in loan balances, $35 billion in deposits and 1,300 employees.

Dr. Imran Shah is a Managing Director in Accenture’s Communications, Media andTechnology Strategy Practice. He was the co-founder of IBB Consulting Group, a premier consulting firm for wireless and mobility, media and cable companies. In 2017, he led the successful acquisition of IBB Consulting by Accenture, a leading global professional services company.
Dr. Azra Raza and Dr. Paula Newberg join APF Leadership Council as Honorary Co-Chairs
DR. PAULA NEWBERG

Dr. Paula Newberg is a scholar and practitioner whose work focuses on the intersections between human rights, democratic governance and foreign policy in crisis and transition states, with particular focus on south and central Asia. Among her many positions, she served as Special Advisor to the United Nations in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East and was the inaugural Wilson Chair in Pakistan Studies at the University of Texas at Austin.
DR. AZRA RAZA
Columbia University
Dr. Azra Raza is the Chan Soon-Shiong Professor of Medicine and Director of the MDS Center at Columbia University in New York. She is an accomplished scientist who supervises a state-of-the-art basic research lab and a tissue repository of blood and marrow samples collected since 1984. Dr. Raza is the author of The First Cell: And the Human Costs of Pursuing Cancer’s Last, published by Basic Books, October 2019.
